The audio and video production field is competitive. Production companies around the world search for the best ideas to market their products. We were introduced to a production company that wanted to optimize its PPC budget and decrease costs. They believed they were not maximizing their budget with the amount of leads coming into their small production company of six employees. They paused several campaigns to trim the budget before seeking our services.

This company offers services for audio productions, TV commercial productions, visual effects productions, motion graphics productions, 3-D modeling and animation productions, web video productions, green screen compositions, corporate video productions, voice overs, and 3-D virtual set designs.

Our goal was to increase quality leads and helping grow their business while keeping costs low.

The Strategy...

One of the biggest mistakes they were making was not capitalizing on the content network. We recommended implementing a campaign to generate content leads. Initially, there were about 50 leads coming in every week from the campaign. The strategy of trimming the budget quickly turned as a result, as the leads continued to grow with the optimization of the campaign. The production company launched a video campaign, which became a lead generator from online submission requests and phone leads. The video campaign also served as a major branding presence for the company. We also streamlined leads by targeting the video campaign to each of the services they offered. We increased the budgets to accommodate these changes as business increased and the leads kept rising. We remained in the same geographical locations; However, the optimized campaigns produced better results, which allowed us to increase spend and generate more leads. 

Results...

After the first week of taking over their PPC account, conversions rose to 136 a week. After we fully implemented new strategies and optimized the account, conversions grew to 418 a week. Our PPC efforts resulted in the production company landing contracts with car manufacturer Mercedes Benz and rock band “The Rolling Stones.” Today, the production company has grown from 6 to 16 employees to handle the increase in new business.
